The Mathematics Department of Delhi Public School, Coimbatore hosted the much-awaited Takshila Mathletics 2025 on 16th October 2025, bringing together 97 participants from 10 leading schools across Coimbatore. The event buzzed with excitement, creativity, and a shared love for mathematics beyond textbooks.

The day began with a soulful prayer, lamp lighting by dignitaries, and the vibrant Takshila Gaan. A graceful classical dance performance by DPS students set the perfect tone for the day. Esteemed judges – Ms. Shobana, Mr. Sivaramakrishnan, Ms. Archana, and Ms. Anuradha – inaugurated the event and encouraged participants to think mathematically with confidence and imagination.

Students showcased their skills across exciting competitions like Role Play, Math Brawl, Mathabola, Poster Making, Model Making, and Extempore. The campus came alive with exhibits, puzzles, and enthusiastic presentations, all coordinated seamlessly by the Mathematics Department and a team of 30 student volunteers.

Outstanding performances marked every event, with PSG Public School and DPS Coimbatore emerging as the top overall performers.

The day concluded with an inspiring address by Mr. Sivaramakrishnan, followed by the prize distribution ceremony that celebrated creativity, logic, and teamwork.
